ABOUT

I am a third-year student studying Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2022. I am well-organised,

resourceful, motivated and specialise in Print. I am looking to enhance and further develop my skill set with traditional and contemporary techniques.

In my spare time I enjoy photography, I have a good eye for composition and can use a technical camera. My work is often multidisciplinary, I enjoy being hands on, learning new techniques, aided by photography, CAD and print design.

Design skills & Transferable skills:

• Drawing abilities include being able to produce proportional and realistic tonal drawings.

• Confident with using CAD software such as Photoshop and InDesign, and basic foundation knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.

• I can create Brick, Block, Half Drop and Pattern Quartering/Seamless repeat designs in Photoshop and by hand.

• Print specialist processes include knowledge of: disperse dyes, acid dyes, discharge techniques, devore, pigment printing and illuminating discharge. Others specialist technical skills include foiling, puff and flock.
